About

I’ve been a FreeBSD committer since 2000, when I first started working on the release notes for each official release of FreeBSD. This expanded into a role as a member of the release engineering team from 2001-2004, at which point I took a two-year break from most of my FreeBSD activities. Thanks to a more FreeBSD-related job, I’ve rejoined the RE team as of 2006.

My main FreeBSD areas of interest are general release-related documentation and release engineering, as well as networking. More generally, I have interests in Internet routing and traffic analysis, as well as network security.
